Equipment:
24 ft. ladder secured to platform with base 6 ft. from plumb line.  Ladder straps optional.  All equipment furnished.
 
Procedure:
1. Two (2) firefighters secure ladder.  Third firefighter is at base of ladder.  Fourth
    fireighter is at 50 ft. line. Fifth firefighter is at 100 ft. line.
2. At signal, firefighters three, four, and five run to and climb ladder.  Firefighters
    cannot pass each other.
3. No more that two (2) firefighters may be on the ladder at one time.
4. The clock stops when firefighters three and four are off the ladder and safely on
    the platform and firefighter five touches the top rung.
 
Penalties: 10 seconds for each violation
1. Firefighters starting before signal.
2. Three (3) firefighters on the ladder at one time.
3. Any firefighter not touching the bottom rung on the ladder.
