Kentucky Fire Commission – State Fire Rescue Training / Kentucky Community Technical College System offers Industrial Training to a variety of business / industries throughout the Commonwealth.
In February 2012, Area 14 hired a full time industrial specialist to better service the business and industrial facilities in South Central Kentucky. State Fire Rescue Training offers many classes that help employers meet OSHA requirements to provide a safe and healthy workplace.

Industrial Training Staff:

Chantz McPeek has been in the Emergency Service field for 12 years. He began his
service at Laurel County Fire Department where he occupied various positions, most
recent being Operations Captain until August of 2011. Chantz also worked EMS for
Laurel and Whitley counties over the years. He has received various certifications,
including; IFSAC FF I, IFSAC FF II, IFSAC Hazmat Awareness, IFSAC Hazmat Ops, IFSAC Driver/Pumper/Operator, IFSAC Mobile Water Supply, IFSAC Instructor, Rope Rescue Tech, Confined Space Tech, Hazmat Tech, EMT-B. Hired by Area 13 SFRT in 2009 as a field instructor, he has taught various classes throughout the commonwealth. Chantz was hired as the Industrial Specialist for SFRT, Area 14, in Febuary of 2012.
